About this event

Join BPW Boulder for their monthly event on Thursday, March 27, 6:30 p.m., at the Boulder Rural Fire Rescue Protection, 6320 Lookout Road, Boulder, for a presentation about the State of Early Childcare and Education in Boulder County.
Kaycee Headrick of the Early Childhood Council of Boulder County (ECCBC) will share information the Council has gathered with the latest child care data at both the local and state levels, revealing concerning trends in our child care ecosystem. If left unaddressed, these challenges could significantly impact our local economy and the well-being of future generations. This presentation will provide an in-depth look at these
trends and offer insights to help guide potential solutions.
The ECCBC is on a mission to ensure that every child and child care provider in Boulder County thrives. They believe all children deserve access to nurturing care, education, and the support they need during critical early years. The ECCBC is an independent nonprofit that rallies support and resources to provide quality early childhood experiences by focusing on increasing access for children and families, improving the childcare workforce, enhancing program quality and addressing systematic challenges.
Kaycee has 15+ years of nonprofit leadership experience, specializing in child and youth development, advocacy, and strategic growth. She is passionate about community-driven change and excels in policy, coalition building, and resource development. She believes collaboration is key to creating lasting impact for future generations.
