April is National Financial Literacy Month and the NFBPWC Virtual Chapter is hosting their monthly meeting and networking event to cover this topic. Forbes magazine article, "COVID-19 Exposes The Critical Need For Financial Education," addresses how the pandemic has highlighted American's financial illiteracy. Women have been affected by the "she-cession" in much larger numbers than their male counterparts. An equitable pandemic recovery will require both an financial assessment in the wake of COVID and a strategy that empowers women.
